Carolina Series 16″ Viola

The Carolina Series are violas made to our specifications, and the body is completed in our upstairs workshop. The fittings are hand carved, and the soundpost cut to fit. When the instrument is fully strung up to play, we then adjust the post to get the best sound possible. The wood choice is excellent, and the instrument is light in weight. The instrument is made in a Stradivarius model and is easy to handle. The viola speaks very well even with very little bow pressure. The lines of the viola are crisp and clean, which adds to the charm of this instrument. We complete the fittings on these instruments in 6-8 hours of shop time.
