This is the L’Archet Brasil line of woven carbon fiber bass bows. It is a blend of traditional craftsmanship with the durability of composite materials. L’Archet Brasil is mostly known for their exceptional handmade pernambuco and ipe wood bows. These woven carbon fiber bass bows are designed by professional bow makers and are designed to closely mimic the weight and balance of professional pernambuco bass bows. The French model bow features a tightly woven high-grade carbon fiber stick that is highly resistant to warping or cracking in humidity or temperature. The bow lines up with well-made pernambuco sticks. It is well-balanced with an ebony frog that has a dazzling mother-of-pearl slide. The frog is classic blind eye, and the heel is full silver, not half-lined. The hair is natural white Mongolian- slightly coarse, which Mr. Judd believes is excellent for bass players, and the silver winding is completed with a goat leather thumb grip. The bow has a three-piece button, and the tip is finished in nickel silver, which is another feature that sets this bow apart. The camber is strong; it is a very decent playing bow for an intermediate player. This carbon fiber woven bow provides an excellent playing stick with exceptional value.
