Non-Stamped Violin Bow, German Trade Bow, circa 1970
We have a non-branded pernambuco violin bow in octagonal-section with nickel silver mounts. The bow is fully lined and has a Parisian eye frog and a three-piece end button. The bow has a new bone tip and silver winding with leather thumb grip. The bow is firm, plays well, and is easy to control. It is in good condition and the mother-of-pearl slide jumps in color. The entire frog is a much higher grade than we usually find on a standard commercial trade bow. This stick would be perfect for the up-and-coming player looking for an intro wooden bow to play and perform with. German workmanship that will last another lifetime.
Weight fully haired 62.9 grams.
