Acclaimed contemporary bow make John Norwood Lee began his career in 1977 at the Bein & Fushi firm in Chicago. He quickly thereafter opened his own shop, making and restoring bows while continuing to service Bein & Fushi, other fine violin shops, and renowned players. This bow is a fine example of his craft; the pernambuco carefully shaped to be an octagonal section that makes the subtle transition to the head, the fully lined sterling silver mount, and the classic lines of the blind ebony frog. The mother-of-pearl slide and silver button give the bow the finished look of understated sophistication.

Weight fully haired 59.5 grams.
