Prior to World War II Mirecourt, France was a bustling violin industry town located in Northeast France. The two main industries of the town were lace making and violin making. The latter consisted of both small workshops and large firms. The Bailly workshop was a small affair, producing instruments of great sonority and clean workmanship. Our Bailly on offer has tremendous clarity and thunderous tone.
