C Chagas Brasil Sterling Silver Violin Bow

Gorgeous sterling mounted vilin bow. The bow was made by Claudio Roberto Chagas. His bows are stamped C. Chagas. Born in 1973 Claudio started making bows at 20 years of age and started out roughing out sticks for other bowmakers and in 1997 he began making bows. Claudio makes fine sticks and his jewerly work is outstanding. This bow is Round-section pernambuco, fully mounted in sterling silver with silver winding and goat thumb leather. The ebony frog has mother-of-pearl for the Parisian eyes and slide, and the bow is finished with a three-piece silver and ebony adjuster. It is a great stick at a very nice weight.
