      The Eastman Model 200 violin represents the first in Eastman Strings' line-up of advanced instruments. Each violin is entirely hand-crafted from well seasoned, select tonewoods. The instruments are fitted with ebony fingerboards and hand-carved boxwood pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest with ebony trim.

      Each Eastman Model 200 violin is hand-fit in our shop with a French Aubert or Despiau maple bridge and Thomastik Dominant strings with a Pirastro Gold Label E string.

      The Eastman Model 205 violin is entirely hand-crafted from European tonewoods and features a red brown varnish. The instruments are fitted with ebony fingerboard, German Wittner tail-piece and hand-carved ebony pegs and chinrest.

The violin features a two piece maple back with a light figure and a two piece spruce top of medium width grain. Finished in an orange-brown spirit varnish.       This beautifully restored violin has a robust sound. Mr. Judd believes the instrument was made sometime between 1910 and 1920. Elegantly varnished with all ebony fittings, this will be a winner for an up and coming young player.

      Two-piece maple back highly flamed with flame descending slightly from center seam. Matching ribs, neck, and scroll. Two-piece spruce top with medium-width grain. Red/brown varnish on golden ground. Ebony fittings, pegs have brass diamond-shaped inserts.
