The W. E. Dörfler cello bow is stamped: W. E. Dörfler. The bow is a German trade bow made in Europe. The original bows by Egidius Dörfler were and are collector bows valued at a few thousand dollars. For 125 years four generations of the Dörfler family have made bows in Bubenreuth, Germany. Our bow is a trade bow from the family in pernambuco specie, octagonal section, nickel silver mounts fully lined in an ebony Parisian eye frog, and three-piece end screw. This stick is firm and nicely balanced. This will be a great bow for an intermediate player.

Weight fully haired 80.1 grams.
