This is a L’Archet Brasil line woven carbon fiber bass bow. It is a blend of
traditional craftsmanship with the durability of composite materials. L’Archet Brasil is mostly known for their exceptional handmade pernambuco and ipe wood bows. Now there is something new in 2026 from these professional bow makers. These woven carbon fiber bass bows are closely designed to mimic the weight and balance of professional pernambuco bass bows. The German model bow features a slightly lighter overall feel to the bow and a very cool tight woven high-grade carbon fiber stick that is highly resistant to warping or cracking in all types of climates. The balance is excellent with an ebony frog and a striking mother-of-pearl slide. The frog is artistically pleasing to the eye and features a classic blind eye look. The hair is white Mongolian natural hair- slightly coarse, which Mr. Judd believes is excellent for bass players. The silver winding is completed with a black goat leather thumb grip. The button is solid ebony, and the tip is finished in nickel silver which is another feature that sets this bow apart. The camber in the stick is strong, and it is overall a great playing bow for an intermediate player.
