We have sterling silver mounted violin bow in round section. The bow has been in the workshop since 2010 and just has been cleaned, polished, and rehaired. The workmanship is very nice, and the stick is pernambuco. This bow features a sterling silver winding, with goat leather rolled with a pattern. The frog is ebony with single mother-of-pearl eyes and a mother-of-pearl slide with simple hues. The endscrew has a three-piece silver button. The fittings on the bow are mounted with pin work. This bow is moderately firm and plays well. The tip facial is made in the material called casein, not bone, and will hold up well. The bow is an excellent stick for the player looking to get into a sterling silver mounted pernambuco bow.
