We have a full size Eastman pernambuco cello bow in very good condition. This five-year-old bow that has been meticulously gone over here in the workshop. We gave the bow good cleaning on the stick and in the nickel silver mounts along with new lapping leather, thumb leather, and fresh hair. The stick is pernambuco, octagonal in section, and is nickel mounted. The frog is fully lined and is a Parisian eye model frog. The button is three-piece nickel/ebony/nickel with a pearl end dot. The bow is strong and has no issues. This is a nickel mounted stick that I believe is a few grades higher in the stick quality. The bow balances well and has nice overall weight. The bow feels even lighter in the hand than what the gram weight tells me. Yes, pernambuco, beautiful pearl hues in the frog and button. This will make a great bow for a cellist wanting to get into a pernambuco stick.
