20th Century German Violin Bow

High-quality round-section trade bow made in Germany. The pernambuco stick tapers gracefully to the head, and very slight asymmetries and chisel marks in the mortise show that this bow was crafted by hand, not machine. The ebony frog features a mother-of-pearl slide and Parisian eyes, and the bow is finished with a three-piece adjuster with a mother-of-pearl inset. GERMANY is very faintly visible on the audience side, and 48 is stamped on the underside of the bow.
