Tonk Violin Bow
This fine hand-crafted octagonal-section pernambuco bow was imported from Markneukirchen, Germany in the early part of the 20th century by the Chicago firm of Tonk Brothers. It features a silver mount and winding, fully lined ebony frog with mother-of-pearl slide and eyes, and a three-piece silver and ebony button. This bow plays very light in the hand and has great balance; a bow that is well suited for the skilled player.
