Workshop Violin Bow – ½ Size, circa 2008 – (Brazilwood Specie)

Origin is China, non branded 1/2 size violin bow. This is a great playing ½ size violin bow that I keep re-hairing to get it back into the showroom for the next child. The bow has basic nickel mounted fittings, it is Brazilwood specie, octagonal in section and the fittings and winding are in nickel silver. The endscrew is of three pieces and the frog is Parisian eye. The nickel winding is discolored from natural playing wear. I decided to leave as is because it works and the balance of the bow is right on. The bow is in good condition and ready for the next younger player in need of a firm bow that plays well.

Weight fully haired 51.5 grams.
