The StressLess Chinrest

Holding a violin for hours each day can be uncomfortable and ergonomically harmful. Common physical problems among string players include repetitive motion disorders, arthritis, neck or back pain, and scoliosis. A comfortable, stress-free hold is essential for proper technique and the production of free and open tone. The Universal Chinrest is intended for players who need a taller chinrest in order to comfortably hold an instrument. It provides quick and secure vertical height and tilt adjustment to accommodate a wide variety of players.

This chinrest is designed and manufactured by J.S. Lamancusa, with patent pending.
