Sivori, German – post WW II Viola Bow – SOLD – JUNE 4, 2021
This is a very nice post-World War II commercial bow made in West Germany and brought into America by the Scherl & Roth Company. These German bows were combined with upper level instrument outfits. Octagonal-section pernambuco mounted in nickel with silver winding. The ebony frog features a mother-of-pearl slide and Parisian eyes, and the adjuster is nickel and ebony with a mother-of-pearl inset.
