Sacconi Cello – SOLD 3/25/2020
The Sacconi line is named in honor of Simone F. Sacconi, who was world renowned for his instrument making, restoration, and general knowledge of string instruments. From the 1920’s to the 1960’s, Mr. Sacconi was the man most of the world’s great musicians trusted when their instruments needed attention.
The Sacconi model cello produces a powerful low end while still providing a glistening high end. The hand-drawn varnish is typical of that found on more expensive instruments. All of the fittings are crafted in our shop, with the exclusion of the German-made Wittner tailpiece. An excellent choice for the player looking to get an impressive instrument at an affordable price.
