PENZEL

We have a German trade bow with no other markings. The bow was made in the Penzel workshop just after WW II. The stick and frog have very little natural playing wear. The bow is pernambuco specie, round in section, and nickel mounted. The bow is in good condition, with a Parisian eye frog that has white abalone pearl eyes. The tip, frog, and end screw are original to the bow. We replaced the nickel silver winding and leathers. This is a great bread and butter bow, standard nice stuff, excellent for a player looking for a firm wood stick that plays well. The stick is light in the hand and handles with ease. German stick with some age.
