Circa 1920s Stradivari model violin from the shop of Jerome Thibouville-Lamy. Hugues Emile Blondelet, a decorated violin maker, was at one time a co-director of the renown J.T.L. firm of Mirecourt, France. This stunningly well-preserved instrument is quintessentially French in its construction and varnish. It features excellent woods and fine carving work. The sound is smooth, sweet, and pleasing under the ear. This violin truly stands out and would be a great instrument for a gifted player.
