French Mirecourt model bass.. This model features gracefully sloped upper bouts and slightly larger lower bouts to give the instrument power. The varnish is deep orange/brown on a golden amber ground. The varnish displays wear patterns and has a nice patina. Two-piece spruce top plate with medium-width grain, two-piece moderately-flamed maple back plate of medium-width flame, and matching maple ribs and neck.
