DAVID NISLE Model 0600 Cello – Restored
The NISLE model is a Stradivarius pattern cello with no frills flame in the wood. Much handmade construction in the traditional spruce top and maple back, ribs, and scroll. The fittings are ebony, and the tail is a German Wittner tailpiece. The cello is made in a small Beijing, China workshop for J.R. Judd Violins. The instrument is finished in a spirit varnish and sounds excellent because the cello is well made, light, and it simply speaks. The sound and tone quality are rich, smooth, and I believe very pleasing to the ear. The sound will cause the beginner or intermediate player to take a second look at this fully carved instrument. This fully restored cello is perfect for the player looking to move to a fully-carved instrument at a bargain price.
