Beautiful 19th Century German Violin Bow

We have a gorgeous 100 year plus pernambuco specie violin bow, round in section with nickel mounts. The bow is in excellent condition, and we have added a sterling silver winding with leather to the nickel mount to give the bow better balance and playability. The gram weight fully haired is 59.9 grams. The bow was made in the Markneukirchen area of Germany and dates from the 1880’s-1890’s. The handmade bow only has the brand “GERMANY” on the bottom flat of the stick located behind the ebony frog. The bow does not have a maker’s stamp. This is a lightweight and easy to play balanced violin bow.
