Alfred Knoll Cello Bow ca. 1960
Alfred Knoll is a recognized maker in Germany. This bow is fully branded and has an additional stamp of GERMANY on the bottom flat behind the frog. The bow has been fully restored here at J.R. Judd Violins. This bow plays well with the balance point being centered high along the stick. The bow is of pernambuco specie and is of octagonal section. The ebony frog contains single mother of pearl eyes and the end screw is a traditional three-piece silver/ebony/silver. An excellent intermediate player’s bow.
Weight fully haired 83.0 grams.
