Hungarian circa 1870
This quirky Del Gesu pattern instrument is as comfortable belting out a gutsy tune as it is singing a sweet lullaby. It has a sultry and rich tone that projects well and is sweet under the ear. The dark sound matches perfectly with the deep red-brown varnish on a golden ground. This violin features birds-eye maple ribs and wide “ears” on the volute which give it a beautiful, unique look.
