The two piece spruce top contains a medium width grain. The varnish is a tastefully antiqued, transparent golden orange varnish and contains some patina. The violin is fitted in boxwood and Zyex strings. This is a very beautiful new violin.

Handmade American violin made by Charles Schultze in 1918. He operated a violin shop in Dayton, Ohio for twenty years.
This violin features a one-piece maple back with matching ribs. The top plate is of two pieces and a medium to wide width grain. It has rosewood fittings throughout with the pegs finished in boxwood collars and pins. The oil varnish is a light amber-orange brown varnish all hand applied.
