Made in 2008. This is Eastman's newest model cello featuring very tastefully done antiqued varnish work. It has a gorgeous two piece, highly flamed, maple back. When facing the front of the cello, the rib on the right matches the back plate while the rib on the left contains very little flame. The cello is fitted in ebony with a German Wittner tailpiece and Helicore strings.

Beautifully restored old German cello, circa 1920s. This instrument contains a highly-flamed two-piece maple back plate. Flames of narrow to medium width. Highly flamed matching ribs, neck and scroll. Two-piece spruce top of various-width grain. The instrument contains much patina and the varnish is an amber-brown varnish on a golden ground, consistent throughout the entire cello. The instrument is fitted in rosewood pegs with a Wittner tailpiece and a Belgian bridge. This cello is an excellent example of sound and construction from the early 20th century.

This Strad pattern cello has a two piece, highly flamed, maple back with matching ribs, neck and scroll. Two piece spruce top of fine to medium width grain. The cello contains beautifully carved rosewood pegs. The pegs have been bushed. The cello is fitted with an ebony fingerboard, saddle and nut, a Wittner tailpiece, a Belgian bridge, as well as Larsen A and D and Spirocore G and C strings. The instrument is in excellent condition even though the orange-brown varnish contains some wear and much patina.
