All instrument payments go toward the final purchase of an instrument. When all payments have been met, the instrument is yours. There is no interest charged.
The instrument payment includes a monthly insurance charge. Damage/Repair insurance covers the instrument, case and bow for all repairs except strings.
Standard cello rentals are available in sizes from 1/4 to 4/4.
Hybrid cello rentals are available in sizes from 1/8 to 4/4.
Carved cello rentals are available in sizes from 1/8 to 4/4.

Rental payments are made on a credit or debit card during the first week of the month. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. The instrument contract is not transferrable to any other family member or friend. The instrument may be returned at any time and the contract agreement will cease. Please contact J.R. Judd via telephone or e-mail before returning the instrument.
Rental instruments have full trade-in value at J.R. Judd Violins. All funds paid (excluding tax and insurance) during the rental agreement may be applied to a larger and/or more valuable instrument when traded in. If you should outgrow your present instrument while in the rental program, just bring it back to exchange for a larger size. There is no additional charge for a larger size rental instrument.
If the contract is completed without trading in the instrument: Only the instrument, at its original value, may be traded in when you upgrade to a more valuable instrument. At this time repair cost, due to depreciation beyond normal wear, may be deducted from the cost of the trade-in. The instrument may also be traded in for a larger size after the contract is completed for a service fee of $95.00.
